Artist Statement
I aint got no F******** time to waste- before i fly away
This song is about how i have so much stuff to do in this short period of time i have called life in order to fulfill my purpose. This is my life; seeing music in color, working endless hours to create compositions and teaming up with other artists in order to see my visions come to life.
The videos are of the different process i go through when making a song.
I have a video of me playing the keyboard to make a beat, editing and layering the sounds together from the melody and the drums/bass/kicks. Then i have different clips of me recording and singing on the microphone whether it be the actual lyrics or just figuring out what to put where. Most recently i haven't been writing anything when creating a song i just get in the booth and sing along with the beat until i find something i feel sounds good. Then i will record accordingly and edit the vocals. I recorded the videos using the Iphone X and used final cut pro to put together the project. For the music i used Logic Pro X to record and edit. The final project is a jumbled random version of the process i go through in order to give the viewer that feeling of what to do next, how and when. That is similar to the feeling i have when creating a new song. "How would this sound, what kick would be good here, what words should i put, etc." The process is very random and i dont always do the same thing each time i get in the studio, but it is always fun and the final product is always amazing to hear.
